About Lauren
Dr. Lauren Schnell-Peskin (she/her) has nearly two decades of experience in the field of applied behavior analysis. She has provided consultation across the lifespan in diverse settings, including schools, hospitals, clinics, and mental health programs. Dr. Schnell-Peskin earned her Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from Caldwell University and is currently an Associate Professor in the ABA programs at Hunter College. In addition to her academic role, she maintains a private consultation practice serving the tri-state area, where she works closely with families of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and with public schools that support students with disabilities.
Dr. Schnell-Peskin has published her work in books and peer-reviewed journals and regularly presents at local, national, and international conferences. She contributes to the field of ABA as a reviewer and board member for several behavior analysis journals.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family in upstate New York and traveling around the world.
